Yorktown Structure Fire

It was a busy day on June 30, 2019 for Peekskill VAC! Just as we were wrapping up our Trailer/UTV course, at approximately 1450 hours Peekskill VAC was dispatched by 60 Control for our Rehab Unit to respond to Yorktown for a working structure fire. Our Rehab Unit 7506 responded upon dispatch to the scene where they provided firefighters a way to cool down and other rehab services to first responders on scene. 7506 stayed on scene for approximately 1.5 hours until we returned to service and our district.
